Since the last update I've glued up and faired the backbone as well as completed my plank patterns. I'm ready to start planking up when the weather warms up. By this summer I should have something that actually looks like a real boat!

Nice! I saw a Fulmar at the boat ramp last summer. Quite a big boat. The one I saw didn't have it's rig yet, he was just using it as a moter boat. It really has a nice full shape. Thanks for the update.

Steven

Wait a minute - you're in Dallas? Why are you waiting for the weather to warm up? Get to work!

Do us all a big favor. Wheel your Fulmar to the neighbor's garage with junk strewn all about and take a pic. Then post it with an update and tell us it is your garage. Only then will you have something in common with the rest of us. ;) :D

Hey, guys, go easy on him. He's an engineer. He can't help himself!

Hi Lee
Your doing great. Soon your fulmar will look so much like a boat that you will want to work on it rather than sleep. Don't let them give you a hard time about the clean garage. I just wish I had that much space.

Great job! No worries about boatbuilding in an operating room enviornment. My guess is that SWMBO has declared the boat shop a "No Mess Zone".

Your boat will make 2 Oughtred designs to grace the waters of east Texas. Are there others? We could have an Oughtred Messabout at Lake Greenbriar.
