Anyone know what boat I am talking about?

I am wondering if anyone knows the name of an old wood boat that won their division at Cowes week a couple of years back against the usual stiff international competition. I think they were racing under IRC, which is kind to older boats, but I could be wrong about the rating. The owner/skipper worked for SP systems, and I remember the write up that ws in Yachting World. I have since lost the issue, and I haven't been able to dredge up any info. If anyone knows...let me know. Thanks

I know Peter Brookes won his division in his West Solent.Natica. Is that it ?

Nope...I actually just found out. The boat is called Whooper, and it is a 1939 Giles design. It won the round the island race overall against 1600+ other boats.
