Mardi Gras boat parade

On march 1 2003 the "Krewe of Wrecks" will have their yearly mardi gras boat parade on the Ticfaw river near Springfield, LA. Come participate or party in the swamps like the locals do.All the boats will be decorated just like the floats in New Orleans. It will be warm by then and the bead throwing and crazy fun will be plentiful.There is no place like this in the world. Some wooden boats will be in this parade,also the boats will be from small fishing boats to party barges to 50 ft. sportfishing boats.Two live bands will be playing after the parade. If any of you wooden boaters would like to ride on an old 1957 sportfisherman that has been in this parade since 1979 that i know of , let me know .Maybe some of you that are stuck up north in the cold might want a break.
