In his honor:
http://www.niehs.nih.gov/kids/images/flags/marinesiwo.gif
The Marine’s Hymn
From the Halls of Montezuma
To the Shores of Tripoli;
We will fight our country's battles
In the air, on land and sea;
First to fight for right and freedom
And to keep our honor clean;
We are proud to claim the title
of United States Marine.
Our flag's unfurled to every breeze
From dawn to setting sun;
We have fought in ev'ry clime and place
Where we could take a gun;
In the snow of far-off Northern lands
And in sunny tropic scenes;
You will find us always on the job--
The United States Marines.
Here's health to you and to our Corps
Which we are proud to serve
In many a strife we've fought for life
And never lost our nerve;
If the Army and the Navy
Ever look on Heaven's scenes;
They will find the streets are guarded
By United States Marines.

May Don Z. come home safely to his family and friends, and to the Nation he's served.
Thanks, Don.
And thanks, Donn.
Alan
It's a corny little jingle, but it still gives me goosebumps. I especially like the last four lines. :D
I shot an email off to Don, and it hasn't been returned undeliverable, so maybe we'll hear from him.

This is a bit humbling. Thanks to all.
Unfortunately (at least from my point of view), I'm still here in the States. I've been more than a little swamped, making sure a bunch of people have augmented I MEF. Tuesday night, on Fox News, you may have seen Co. B, 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. Those are one of the groups I helped send over. It's also my old Battalion, so I'm a little jealous...
I know that might sound strange to some... I think, if you've done it... sat in this chair, you'll completely understand. If not, there's nothing I could possibly explain to make it make sense.
But I am humbled by your thoughts, all of you. Thank you very much.
And to the Iron Horse Marines who are not in a position to read this: Good Hunting...
Hey, Jarhead, good to hear from you. Don't be a stranger.

I've not sat in that chair but I can understand, I think. You've reached the point where you can do more helping many do than you can as one doing, if you get what I'm saying.
Anyway my Tilley is off to you and what you are doing. Best wishes.
