Hi folks, just a short note to say what a great forum, and to also post a pic of our latest venture.
Bought it last summer and did enjoy it for a few months before we hauled it.
Any other Cape Boat owners here ?

Hi, Gus, welcome aboard. I like the juxtaposition of the Cape Islander against the oil rig backdrop. Says a lot about our current NS maritime culture.

The boat was built by Tor Bay Boatbuilders in Charles Cove, Cape Breton NS.
The original owner was Lester Crossman in 1982.

I'd love to have a copy of the plans that were used but I think all that stuff was sold off when the yard closed down. Oh well.
