Shane, alot of us who used to be active have taken on the role of sometime lurkers. I haven't posted here in some time, for several reasons. Mostly it's because I found a much smaller community on the web that fits my current interests, and is small enough to be able to read all the posts. This place has just gotten so damn big, and in a lot of ways, so damn strident. But there's a lot of good still here, and so I keep coming back, and, once in a great while, I feel moved to post. And if the South East Beer Drinkers and Boat Builders ever have another get-together, I'll try to show up again. There be good people here.
Hope all is fine with you and yours,
Pete

Shane...I izz still here....Spending more time at sawbones parlor than I would like. Also Sweet thing thinks I should get a smaller boat....something to play with in my old age since pretty soon I will spend more and more time at home drawing silly pictures......that izz if the doc gets me glued back together..

Tar Devil - Hope you find this post - I had dinner at Dan & Louie's Oyster Bar last week and it is still the same -- oyster stew was really good. Tested my dory two weeks ago and she is running good - offer of fishing trip this summer still open.

edsrHad oysters at my Dad's house two weeks ago... thought the whole time about Dan and Louie's. Dad and I talked about eating there this summer.

Yep, I'll be there. I'll let you know the dates as soon as I do! I'll certainly take you up on the fishing, too!

Later,

Phil

I also miss Eric Sea Frog and Lucky Luc, who seem to have left due to American xenophobia. In fact, come to think of it, our Aussie and Kiwi friends seem to be posting less lately too :(
