Got a warm front down here. Beautiful posts y'all, kind of miss all the beautiful snow, the crisp cold air, the ice downed lines, broken branches, the sooty slush, the miserable cold rain, - -- well, maybe I don't miss it THAT much. Anyhow, Merry Christmas (or whatever politically correct term) for the holiday ye might be celebrating or not celebrating, and certainly GOOD WILL, HEALTH, JOY TO ALL.

No snow or cold air here. Dense fog, just starting to burn off. It's due to hit the early 50's today, before rain gets here this afternoon.

I put tons of bird seed out this morning, and have a veritable menagerie of critters all around. There's even a marsupial hoovering hulls under the feeder in the carport. Squirrels, Jays, Cardinals, Starlings, Doves, House Finches, Sparrows. Chickadees and Juncos all over the back yard.

Quite a show.

Edited to add my Christmas visitor. Nocturnal marsupial eh? Note the sun in the foreground.

We had a quiet day with a few friends. The day started out hot but some cloud came over with a bit of a thunder storm in the arvo, cooled things down nicely. Temperatures lately have been around 35c with high humidity, so it was good to wake up to a cloudy day this morning.
