Anyone else notice Ian Wright's picture in the latest ClassicBoat magazine? They had a little blurb about the Jester race and his cruise to the Azores. There was even a picture of Patience! smile.gif

No, but I did note an article by Tom Lathrop somewhere recently, does that make us even?

I was on board Patience with Ian a couple of days ago,he is here in Falmouth waiting to leave for the Azores. The weather forecast is currently not too good so he will probably be around for a few more days! Patience (Gaff cutter rigged Vertue) looked very solid and ready to go.

Yup, still here,,,,,,,,,,,,,
1st or 2nd of June is looking good for leaping off into the frightening stuff, if the Azores High arrives.
My mental state may be judged by the fact that I didn't offer Jeremy a drink when he visited (Sorry 'bout that, still time though if you call back,,, smile.gif ) and today I dug Patiences Tri-sail out and wondered if it wasn't perhaps just a bit big.
Is 24 gallons of diesel enough to keep the batteries charged do you think?

IanWNo, consider a bladder with about 10 gallons in it, then stow it somewhere, when you've topped the tank off.
BTW, just did a delivery, got too windy for the storm trysail (boat even had a dedicated track).
