Well ,I finally made it . Anyone there last Sunday ? We had a sunny afternoon and a strong breeze ,really everything I could have hoped for .With three friends I took out the WoodsHole Spritsail Boat.This had a good sized boomless spritsail which really set well , especially after I tightened the snotter in the rising wind .I weigh 200 lbs . and could walk forward to do this(cat rig )without the boat even feeling my weight .Four adults weren't even close to her capacity .It was interesting to sail a bigger heavier open boat than is now typical .Very stable in the gusts, and maintained her momentum beautifully when tacking .I could get used to that kind of small boat sailing .

Pretty cool place, huh? I find the ability to rent boats there to be very cool. When we went in August they were having Family Boatbuilding; it was pretty cool to see it first hand. Anyone else been?

Bill, you wouldn't happen to have pics of the Woodshole Spritsail boat sailing, would you? Did it have a c/b or shallow keel?

Oh ; here she is .It's amazeing she's only 15 ft. long .The 4 of us were perfectly comfortable in her for an hour .
