Has anyone heard of the Jack Brow athletics meet apparently a annual full weekend meet in Kelowna or the Trevor Craven athletics meet in Vancouver?

28 & 29 June and 5 & 6 July

Were wondering if its a worthwhile competition for a 17 year old to attend with aspirations for Olympic selection?

Also has anyone heard of a mob called "Sports Travel Options"? apparently they organize international travel and competition for young up and comers here in Aus...

Reason we ask is that Tiff has been invited to either the USA meets at Arcadia High School Invitational and the Mt Sac relays in California and Nevarda or to the above in Canada which will also take in some parts of the USA as in Las Vegas California disneyland universal studios and venice beach before returning home... For the reason of getting the best of both worlds shes aiming for the Canadian meets so that way she gets to see some of both Canada and the USA.

The invite arrived in todays mail so given the dates we need some answers pretty fast so we can get into gear!!

Any info would be great thanks!!

Shane,
Sounds a little fishy to me !
Did you see this part ?

Arcadia Invite Requests Sanction Approval for 50 States and Four Foreign Nations (January 9, 2003)

In its efforts to secure the best and deepest fields possible, Arcadia Invitational meet organizers have sought sanction approval from all 50 states as well as four foreign nations, initiating the process of trying to host athletes from across the nation and around the globe.

This is the first time meet organizers have sought sanctioning for all 50 states, asking the nation's prep sports governing body and its state member associations to consider granting approval for interstate competition. In addition, requests for international sanctions have been sought for Canada, Mexico, England and Belgium.

Status of sanction request outcomes are usually made available well in advance of the meet, with approved states being listed on this website (under the "National/State Sanctions" toolbar on the mainpage) as they become available.

Shane, I'll get Maureen to check it out with the athletic dept. in her school. They are linked to a national school sports federation who will, I expect, have the low-down on any such meets & organizations. She is at a conference tomorrow & may not have time to get an answer, but will be able to find out by Monday at the latest.
