Okay. I've truly succumbed to geezerhood. CRS. Hale's at 5:30, right? Was I there on the wrong day? I WAS late--6:30, but with Hale's Irish Nut Brown at twobucks the pint, I'da figgered you folks to be there til the cat swung. Move the venue, didja? Everyone knock down their own pitcher and head on out for a tattoo? Jamie take you all for a night sail? What?

Kermit, should have kept reading...
"Okay folks, that sounds like a quorum. I think Saturday the 30th sounds like the way to go. Shall we say 5:30 at the Hales Brewery on Leary Way? That should give folks from out of town a reasonable time to get home afterwards. The parking is easy there and it should be fairly easy for people to find. Any other thoughts and suggestions are welcome.
All in favor say aye.
Jamie "
At least I've been assuming we "decided" on the 30?

Sounds like you can do next weekend for a second practice run, Kermit. There can never be too much practice.....

I'm glad to hear you're so eager to see us all. I wish you'd had my phone # as I'd have been happy to come have a beer with you. $2 Nut Browns sounds like something I wish I'd gotten a part of. I hope you can still make it on the 30th. (I did mention that date in the e-mail I sent you. ;) )

CRS (R is for "read") in spades! Can I blame it on these new variable lens things in my spectacles that make all straight lines curves and some curves appear straight?
So, now that the entire woodenboat world knows how incredibly spacey I am, just try to keep it from the Coasties or I'll be forcably relocated to South Dakota!
However, I can testify that the beer and food are both good, and that there was plenty of seating at 6:30! Also, the map and the waypoint are accurate. Parking stinks though. I had to park a good three-quarters of a block from the front door! I don't know how you folks stand city living!

I checked that too. Made it with my walker, so a chair should too.
Somehow I think I'm buying the first pitcher--if I can find this place. Where'd you say it is?

Sort of been lurking about waiting for this to settle down. Unless I get a better offer, I'll be there.

Nightlife in this place starts around 10 PM. You have to remember, in the summer it only gets really dark about then. 8 hour days in the winter translates into 16 hour days in the summer.
