Interesting pics from maritime museum

Went to the Maritime Museam of the Great Lakes Historical Society in Vermillion, OH (40 min west of Cleveland) today, so I though I'd share some pictures. Very worth the six bucks to get in - very thorough with lots of info, great computor displays, an interactive display showing dive camera footage of the major shipwrecks in the great lakes, as well as a thorough section on the wrec of the Edmund Fitzgerald including lifesaving buoys from the E.F.

Yeah Kev, they had a nice display at the boat show and I talked to some of the guys from the antique n classic boat society that made that display - real labor of love.

My boatshow pic's are still in the camera :confused: I need to use up the rest of the roll and get them developed. The LBOA display was awesome. I got some pics of that Lyman Islander Side Steer and some of the Cleveland Amateur Boat Builder's boats too. I hope mine turn out half as nice as yours John. smile.gif
