Sea Wall/City Park Area, Clear Lake
Wooden boats, or "woodies" as they are fondly called, will once again grace Clear lake in numbers this summer. The 10th annual Clear Lake Antique and Classic Wooden Boat Rendezvous will be held Saturday, July 16, in the Sea Wall area adjacent to City Park. Restored antique and wooden boats (like Chriscraft, Centuries, Garwood and more) will be displayed on land and in the water from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday. Several boat owners will be on hand to answer questions about their beautifully restored boats. While in town, many boat owners will take their vessels out on the lake, creating scenes from days gone by. Free admission.
