I haven't been on the site for 3 or 4 years. I have been playing with plastic boats in the Virgin Islands for a while. However, in order to make a living (beyond macaroni and cheese) I am moving back to the the Great Lakes to run "Polly Graff," a 1964 57' Chris Craft Constalation (stink pot). I rebuilt this thing some years ago for the owner (origional owning family) to better than new condition, O.P.M! have patience with me as I try to get back into wooden boats. Thanks
Condolences, Colin. The weather shock between St. Croix and the Great Lakes must be immense.

Ishmael asked where I'll be. I'll be with the boat in Chicago in Burnham Harbor for the summer and run it down the rivers to Mobile Alabama in the fall for yard work.

Colin, which marina is doing the yardwork in Mobile? I live on Dog River and there are several marinas near my house. Keep in touch and when you get to Mobile, we will toast wooden boats with a cold one!

Dog River it is! I apent about 8 months living in that marina a few years ago when we did a major job on "Polly Graff." It included a new keel, transom, frames etc. I always need a friend in the area (being from Chicago). I let you know when we are on our way, you got to see this boat!
