There are three 'Brown' business telephone listings and over 30 'Brown' residential telephone listings in North Haven, ME. Drop a dime or three..

I would try calling JO Brown, Inc. on North Haven. They still build wooden boats there (at least until very recently, not sure if they have a current project) and they may have an idea about the old Brown boat shop you are interested in. The number is (207) 867-2282.

While they appear not to be open in the winter, you might also try contacting the North Haven Historical Society: RR 1, Box 925, North Haven, ME 04853: (207) 867-2248
