My 1936 Palmer Scott built, 28' sailboat is going through some major rebuilding work in the New York City area. Right now she's in a shed at Piermont, NY (right by the Tappen Zee Bridge)with her forward cabin completely removed and the floor timbers out. Most of the bow frames need the lower half cut out, and a scarf cut, then new lowers laminated in place. I'm doing this work under the supervision of Mike Marino the boatbulder from Marine Woodwork Plus.

Anyone interested in checking out the project or lending a hand, contact me by email, bhaskell@centralparknyc.org. I'm working most weekends and some weekdays.
