not to diminish shane's topic in any way, but as members seem to be able to share private moments here on the forum i would like to say that on november 24th, david and i had our 21st anniversary...he is in port sudan and i am in port douglas...many miles apart...i hadnt heard from him in many days, then out of nowhere, he managed to call me...wow! now that was THE best anniversary present anyone could get... it's true the building of the schooner put a strain on our marriage and we have had a bit of a tough time since, but you know when someone loves you...and in this case, he showed it with the most taken for granted thing...a simple phone call. bernadette.

Hey there Bernadette!! Hows things? Happy Annerversary (never could spell that one right :rolleyes: )

The simplest things are the most precious a simple call a small touch a word from afar... makes all the world of difference

Hope your enjoyin Decature (did I spell her name right?? strewth! Im gettin oldtimers!! :eek: ) Your build was one of the absolute inspirations for me here... and are plannin a east to west coast journey sometime in the next several years?

Have a great trip...I'm land bound until spring and am already getting antsy...

AHHhhhhh...21 years of wedded bliss....a guy who still calls....a house in Paradise ....and a boat.....! What more could a gal ask for ? :D
