Atkin & Co. at Port Townsend WB festival

Just a heads up, John Kohnen who moderates the Atkin Boats user group on Yahoo will have an Atkin & Co. booth at this years Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival (sept 8-11). John and Mrs. Atkin will be there with sample plans and a hopefully some real boats.

StevenWe were thinking of it, but never got around to making the arrangements. WB had been talking about having this year's show in Vermont or Upstate New York, which sounded nice. But then decide to do it in Newport again. <shrug> It was kind of a dud there last year, I hear... If we have fun at PT maybe we'll do the Wooden Boat Wooden Boat Show next year.

Last year it was out at the Fort, a State Park a few miles from town. This year it'll be right downtown. We'll see. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Last year thay had to cancel the parade of sail - it was too windy!
