Going to Edisto Island SC in a week on vacation. I've never been to Beaufort SC which is nearby. I might drive over for a day visit. Anything to see or do there? Especially boat related. Thanks.

You could visit the Marine Corps Air Station, and watch the F/A-18's play.

never been there,(just moved here) but from what i hear there is a salty boat museum there.

Brad, as the crow flies you aren't very far from Beaufort but driving time you are a lot closer to Charleston. There is not a whole lot to see in Beaufort(long U sound), SC as apposed to Beaufort(long O sound), NC where there is indeed a nice museum. If you've never been to Charleston(or even if you have)that would be my choice over Beaufort.
