Maine Licensing

I am wondering what the licensing system in maine is? do you have to have any sort of licence? Is their a junior operators licenence for teens under 18?

As far as registering your boat goes, it's similar to registering your car. Go to your local town hall with the year, price and horsepower. Declare a value. They'll assess a tax and a few minor fees and you're home free. If you just purchased the boat you'll have to pay sales tax on the declared sales price at that time also.
