Checked out the Boston Antique & Classic Boat Festival today.

Great little show, big enough to enjoy w/o being to cumbersome to go to.

Some real nice boats showed up:
classic powerboats including RAGTIME

All sorts of sailing craft large and small.
A whole fleet of friendship sloops, in various sizes.

Nice cat boats

I was pleased to see so many wonderful old
and loved wooden boats in Salem today. I
really enjoyed Annie the Fenwick Williams
design and also seeing four Friendship sloops in one place at the same time. The
varnish on Ragtime was just plain amazing.
There was a beautiful owner built H28 there
named Rozi that made great time in the
light wind in the harbor after the parade.
I was sorry to miss Seraffyn, the brochure
listed her as being there but I didn't see her.
I think I saw her down in Scituate last weekend on a mooring but couldn't get close
enough to read the name on the transom.
The show was a nice manageable size and
the folks on their boats were very welcoming.
