OKAY...trying a new route as I have tried the products/resources forum with no luck.
Am looking for anyone out there who may have salvaged hardware from pre-1950's Hinckley Sou'westers.
Yes, have tried the obvious...Hinckley ( down east branch ) without any luck. This ie sespecially bad as Hinckley (MD branch) lost the interior portions of my cabin running lights and can't replace them.
Own a '48 Hinckley Sou'wester 34 FYI
Thanks for any suggestions.
I don't know, I'm seeing an early 50's owner today. Maybe he'll know. One of our regulars "Noah" has an early 50's Hinckley. Try emaiing him directly. (I would have posted this in "misc boat related")

There's a guy trying to restore one in the yard here in Guilford. He's been at it for at least 3 years, and aside from varnishing the planking (Even though he has a few planks missing...)he hasn't actually accomplished anything. For the right price, I could probably be persuaded to "Liberate" the parts you need! ;) :D

Mrlft8. Are you seriously telling us you would steal parts off someones boat just because it may seem that the fellow won't ever finish his project?
