Heard a rumour that the people of Glen Cove broke her up and put the rig on land as an exhibit. any of you long islanders able to verify this?

The local news had a bit about it some time back. They set the rig and one of the houses up in a waterside park. She should have been scuttled before Greenport got her. The people from Glen Cove were totally clueless about what they were in for. A sad ending for what had once been a beautiful vessel.
