Feeling better every day. Still working too many hours. Anemia in almost remision. Lead and Ferriten levels almost to normal. Copper still around 1800 but has not increased in a while. Off Zocor and working on eating better. Was in a 8 week cardiac rehab program to learn how to excercise seems to help but was easier in program.
I am only 47 so I figure I have a few more years and a few more boats left with my name on them. Will keep you posted with my health and my boats. I did get to two show this summer better than none last year and may try to go to Niagara Frontier show in sept. Charlie

Excellent news. Find something physical you enjoy and then get into a regular class or league. Knowing that there are other people counting on you to be there really helps.

Great news Charlie.
I'm 46 and I took up roller skating when I was 40. Find something you enjoy that just happens to be good for you too. :D
Plenty ahead for you, Charlie. I am 48 and took up boat building when I was 44 smile.gif
Nice to see some good news here about your health Charlie. Cut down on your hours if you don't like what your doing. It is not worth it.

You should have known Bud. Three packs a day. Worked as a machinist (a damn good experimental/model maker in a research org).
His road back started riding a bike around his basement. A small basement. Made smaller by the lathe, milling machine, heating plant, etc. He made a lap counter using an electronic eye. A few laps at first, then more and more and more. His reward - a damn nice bike (I custom built one for him) when he reached some number of laps.
A good bike is its own reward, easy on the body, and the source of pleasant communication. Attitude is everything. Best, Ed
