I 'd like to share just the pictures I recently took of the Galapagos islands.

so where's the story? You have got all of us waiting for part 3- and now you have made it worse by showing us some tantalizing pix. Where's the beef??

I had a Geometry teacher in high school who served as an officer in the Equador army before he came to Michigan to teach. Always smiling, he was an amazing guy who could draw a perfect circle freehand in about half a second. Anyway...as a junior officer, he was put in charge of his post while all senior officers attended a weekend 'picnic'. He figured that the entire post needed a weekend pass and dismissed them all with the order to return Sunday night so they would be on post before the seniors returned on Monday. Except...they returned a day early.

So, he was given the choice of five years in lockup or five years hard service in the Galapagos. He chose the later and from your photos it wasn't a bad choice (except maybe the hard service).
