Well, I have not seen one promoted for the island, I have been nursing a bad back so have time on my hands to posulate.

So I propose an EBS in Naniamo (central location), perhaps on Protection Is. at the pub (its nice) and involves a water taxi to get there. Would have to happen before Canadian Thanksgiving as they close till next Easter I think. Whose in? and what other details are needed? Ion

OK - I give, what is an EBS anyway?
If it involves wooden boats and you won't kick a power boat type out then I think I would be interested. Also sounds like a good certral location for anything boat wise.

Sounds good to me, just set up a time and place and I will do my best to be there provided that is that I can keep my clients from wanting to meet with me the same time.
Ian, just curious, where at Shawnigan are you located? I have been doing some work up there for the Regional District and Fire Dept. this year and getting into lots of previously unknown areas.

Was informed this morning that the Dinghy Dock pub will be closed for the winter after October 10. Thats next Friday!! I could swing it but it would be tight, how is it for the rest of you?

Suggest as an alternative, since Barry an Tad are on Gabriola Is, there are two pubs to choose from. John, you could hitch a ride with me from the lake. Set a date like Saturday Oct 11 or 18?
