Gidday Garrett
Mate were doing pretty good actually
The twins are getting sorted out slowly moving forward with their lives and such... happy for the most part but then they have a pretty solid backing group so they dont have to go solo with any of what theyve been through.
Yaz is despiratly trying to find work after being sacked by her dickhead boss whos stated reason was "youve got to many problems and issues since that thing happened to be working here"... dont worry he and I had a major vocal "discussion" about his being such a prick right in the centre of the shop.
Melissa has decided to give herself a better chance at gaining a new job after being sacked by her boss for a younger girl so he wouldnt have to pay adult wages... another argument... and so shes now going to Tafe to get a certificate in some tourist course.
Tiffany as you would expect is over the moon about the forthcoming trip to Canada and the USA... but getting worried due to the creveat Jody has put on it... if the war starts and lasts for longer than a month we are not coming... so shes getting a bit worried that its possible we wont be coming... Tiffany was told today that her job will no longer be available for her unless she gives up her sport so she can work weekends and evenings... this after 12 months of working and their knowing her dedication to sport goals and ambitions.. the company doesnt give a rats this is KMART by the way... so shes looking for another job as well.
Aaron is itching to leave school to get a job so he can buy his first car and do like his old man did and travel around Aussie... sigh shades of the sins of the father eh!... hes cleaned out the shed and now is going up and getting the ships wheel Capn Jake sent the pattern for to us from the Stevensons Weekender... and as he says "Come on da we can get to the moulds now! lets get the canoes done eh?" and of course Im sooooooo busy aint I! :D
Bethany has become the champion girl at her new high school in swimming {all bar butterfly she hates that stroke!} athletics, netball, basketball and soccer... shes just done a scuba diving course and is presently preparing for the STS Llewin trip by scouring all my books and websites for any and all information on sailing schooners!!
Jacinta Brie and Joshy are raging around like demented chooks as usual... happy healthy and full of beans!! :D
Possumpoop ala Jody is as always happy healthy and buzzing around from sunup to sundown at which time the hoons are put to bed and she relaxes... poor thing must drive at least 500 miles each week taking hoons to sporting events and such... but its a manual so Im getting an automatic in the next week or so and that should take a bit of the pressure of her as far as that goes.
Me? aaahhh me Im fine mate goin along great guns now... Ive become a fully fledged member of the local gym and spend as much time as I can soakin in the hot spa!! :D aaahhh geeez I love that thing! using the gym machines and swimming laps in the pool are just the greatest... Ive a fair bit of work to do to get the left hand arm and leg working properly again but its coming along... steady steady.
Theres a fair bit of wastage and clawing in the hand that were working on with a new pretty sexy looking young physio ;) The wastage and loss of muscle tone in both the leg and arm are slowly coming back up... the neck and lower lumbar are the problem areas that shes working on at present as the calcification in the cirvical spine is worsening and we may well end up having to have the op... but really in general small improvements are coming faster each week.
The hardest thing to do is keep the right side from working harder than the left because its stronger it tends to want to work more which ends up leaving me rather sore after the session is finished. We have one celebration this coming week! We should be bending the elbow crutch in the vice!! The physio that lovely young thing wants me to not use it and attempt to walk without it from here on... Im flamin rapt!! Still tend to fall or feel as though Im falling when I dont use it... but hell if she says bend it IM BENDING THE THING!!
Im presently considering options for a business but as yet remain undecided so I will probably do a Real Estate Reps course and have a go at selling houses and such for awhile and a writing course by correspondence until I decide what it is I love to do most.
Soo all up mate? Were doin okay  Thanks for asking Garrett cheers! Hows your mob going along??

Shane,
Sorry for the delayed response, things got a bit hairy today.
I'm real happy that the twins are doing well, and that Family Dingo is, for the most part, doing well and just going through the normal stuff of life! Sorry to hear about all the boneheaded boss issues, but as we like to say in my house, f^(# em if they can't take a joke! And it sounds like you're making good progress, as well, and just as ornery as ever, so that's good to know. Thanks for the update! When are we going to see some pics of some Wee Lassies? Any progress there?
As for my mob (if 3 people are a mob), we are doing well, thanks for asking! I was laid off in January, which was a bit of a heart-knocker, but I found a new job reasonably fast. My wife is due end of May, a boy. I'm not going for a mess o' hoons myself; two's enough! :D My daughter is 22 months old, and just so much fun to be around. I had to suspend working on the Shellback Dinghy for awhile, as someone horn-swaggled (stole, liberated, whatever term you want to use) my tool box. I'm in the process of replacing and upgrading the missing tools, which in itself has been a lot of fun. Also, we have two cats, and this is the time of year they want to be outside, only they can't. So they're giving me more of a yammer than usual. I like cats, don't get me wrong, but come on! No forehead, no opposable thumb, and schizophrenic on top of it all. These two are really trying my patience.
And that's it for me!
Glad to hear all is well, and keep us updated on the Wee Lassies and the rest of it.

Aaron keeps hammering me about getting started too... and I keep mutterin something about the flamin timbers there you know what to flamin do get busy sonshine!!... nah not really ;) hes a bit busy with making a ships wheel just now and asking a bunch of questions... the wee lassies are waiting for me to get the damn strongback done... but I need my young fellas usefull hands so the wheel seems to be his priority just now... mmmmm maybe I should use them as a bit more physio-therapy eh?
Good idea ol chap!! and thus the shed will be raided the stuff bought out into the fresh air and work begun... soon I shall endeavor to post some progress pics!!
A boy?!! in a few months??? AWEFLAMINSOME!!! ...The one thing I miss about havin the snip was knowing there would be no more watchin little buns poppin outta the oven into the world :( ...THAT moment is about the most special moment in all of lifes special moments  ...Give the missus our love for the day!! And dont forget the wee one mate lotsa hugs for her from her mad mob of 'lashuns over here!! :D ...Great age that! 22 months and getting really seriously mobile and into everything... hey does she raid the garlic and onion drawer? When the twins were that age we had this amazing place that had a real bin type cupboard for the garlic and onions and another for potatoes it dropped down instead of opening out... anyways the girls used to stand each side of the cupboard drop it down with a crash and promptly climb inside!! and Yaz would start eating the garlics while Melissa scoffed onions! pair of flamin galahs! :D Yaz now hates Garlic while Melissa loves the stuff and Melissa wont eat onion while yep you got it Yaz loves it!! amazing creatures hoons ...I'll bet her curiosity is starting to really peak you out... mmmm great time!! :D
