Hi Roger,
this is sort of the last try to get through to you.

I was wondering if we could meet the weekend (17-20 september). I am coming over to the UK to sail a regatta on the Smack "Katrine". We will sail up to Maldon Friday the 17th put her in the mud and will sail the OGA Regatta on Saturday the 18th. Sunday we will probably sail back to Brightlingsea. Then Monday morning I will take the plane back to Germany.

Do you think there will be time for a beer?

Martin, no response from Roger, but... The Albert Strange Association is having it's Fall meet in association with the OGA that weekend at Maldon. There should be 4 or 5 AS boats there, Ariel, Firefly, Galatea, Nirvana, and Charm (without her sticks, newly rebuilt sister of SEA HARMONY). If you have the opportunity to speak with any of the ASA people, please say hello from me and SEA HARMONY still in the States. Hopefully we will be out sailing here. Have a great time!!

Martin, I an not far away, I'm an OGA member and I know the owners of Firefly,(Jamie Clay - I was at school with him) Nirvana (Peter Clay - live half a mile away and Sheila II (Mike Burn, lives 4 miles away) and I would welcome a chance of a beer with you if you have time.I daresay Ian Wright (based in Heybridge) would too.

"Please advise!"
