Going to the Cape this weekend. I'd love to take the family and some friends on a big cat-boat or something similar. Any Ideas? I know about the "Old Wharf" boatbuilders, and I may stop by there, as well as Arey's Pond. Thanks everyone.

Marcus Sherman operates Eve'n Tide off the Ocean Street dock in Hyannis. Hardest working head boat in the harbor, but it's a tour, not a chance for you to do any sailing.

Were you to take it, ask him to point out my Granuaile - I'll likely be ashore working on Il Pipi but Marcus knows my boat.

Hope you can find a bare boat charter up in the Pleasant Bay area, as that would be a true gas. Try calling Pease Boats (www.peaseboatworks.com) to see what they know about.

I heard from Brad Pease. They've not a cat boat but there is one chartering out of Saquatuket Harbor in Harwich. There may be a captain named Rice. I'll bet if you call Harwich Harbor Master Tom Leach, or one of his cronies, he'll know. The boat's reputed to be on the dock.
