Hey everyone,
I've been following the Paladin thread. I even tried to get in touch with tciboats to ask about Chuck. No luck. I ust decided to break down and give him a call tonight. It seems that he was in Texas and became very ill. He wound up in the hospital and had to have some surgery. He's been on the mend for a while now. He is back home now, but must take it easy. He sounded tired tonight, but had a good sense of humor (typical Paladinsfo). He said that he has not gotten his computer back up and running, so is offline for the time being. He says Hi and that he is alive, and sorta well.
Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Thanks, Garland. Chuck...keep it up, bud.

Yeah, thanks Garland. Good to hear he's on the mend.
I've just used these on another thread, but I guess it won't hurt to re-post them here. For those who haven't yet met Chuck, here's what he looks like --

Okay folks, since I posted those pictures I've had a chat with the guy himself. I haven't really got anything to add to what Garland's said. Chuck doesn't sound too bad, he's still got his old sense of humour, but he's still getting tired pretty easily. Not surprising of course, when he's only a few weeks out of hospital.
On the other hand he'd just been out walking the dog before I rang, and I take that as a pretty good sign. And he doesn't sound at all interested in turning his computer on, which I take as a good sign too.
As Garland says though, please keep Chuck in your thoughts -- those epsilon waves are bound to help. smile.gif
