UMMM...Where's it going to be?

I enjoyed Newport . and it's close to home.
This year I'm really going to try to get to Portland for the Maine Boatbuilders show.

I think he meant the WB School, not WB Show.
If the WB Show is in August next year maybe we'll go the the Mahone Bay Wooden Boat Festival and the WB Show! And the ELF will definitely be ready. smile.gif

It's a long way for my wooden boat to go and not going in her would be a downer. Am not sure whether I would make the effort.
I figure singlehanded with fair winds, it would take me a week to get to Buzzards Bay..To heck with Newport.
Now if it was down in the Chesapeake...that is another matter.I would try to attend.

I've signed up for Coastal Navigation the last week of July. The plan is to stay the following week and cruise around the area to see what I learned.

I just registered for Elements of Seamanship I for the week of June 19-25. Even though I swore I wouldn't do it, I'll be camping again.

You'll enjoy the school a lot. The site is very beautiful, the food is excellent, and the classes are very informative. And a fleet of 30 boats to play with!!
