I'm looking for some copper clench nails that are 1 3/8" or 1 1/2" in length. I need 2lb , or about 450 nails. Anybody have a line on these? I've tried Faering design, Hamilton and Jamestown, with no luck.

.
Look around a bit longer, Stephen. We have them out here to at least 3" (possibly more, but I've never had to look,) so you should be able to get them somewhere okay.

WBF in Pt Townsend doesn't have them - those are boat nails for rivetting - I'm after the sharp "tack - looking" ones used specifically for clenching.
Waiting to hear back from the Strawberry Banke Museum.
The search goes on...

The article in 174 p. 62 mentions Strawbery Banks and Faering Design as sources for nails. Years ago, while I was searching for Yankee Tender stuff, I bought from Cannell, but I don't see him advertising now.
