Sigh. I'm just finding out that my favorite boat paint, Z-Spar Alkyld Enamel is no longer being produced. I always enjoyed the way it went on and looked when done.
So I'm looking for opinions. What does everybody use for boat paint? I'm still looking for the traditional marine enamel, so I'm not interested in epoxies or polyurathanes.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Harvey

Kirby's for sure if you're after traditional oil based paint. Be advised: Kirby's gloss paint tends to be less glossy than most paints. The semi-gloss is very nearly flat. That's not a bad thing, just different. George will sell you small cans to try before you go for the big paint job. He will also mix any color you want.
