my 62 thompson sea lancer has four chrome plates spaced on the rails that appear to be mounts for pins that held fender ropes, i was told they may be wilcox crittenten. the pin pushes into a spring type lock. can anyone help? thanks

There's a lot of gizmos out to hold fenders, as I'm sure you know. I'd check the Wilcox Crittenden catalog, if you haven't already. If you are really lucky, they may still make 'em!
