I thought you lived in Alabama. Haven't seen you here in a while! One place to get the arbor you need is:

I've often found them at flea markets considerably cheaper, but this look a solidly built unit.

thanks frank, thats it. i've seen them also but now that i need one i couldn't find one(naturally). swmbo is from aladambama as is our new grandson. thanks again :D

A good hardware store ought to have one of those. A TEFC motor sure would be nice given the close proximity of the wire brush to the air holes on the motor!
