Just a reminder concerning a good website:

www.instantboats.com (http://www.instantboats.com)

Here's a link to the "Nymph" dinghy:

I don't have any financial interest in this site, but I do like Dynamite Payson, a good practical Yankee boatbuilder if ever there was one...

And, not a bad place for someone to start.

Bolger's Gypsy was the first boat I ever built. She's a blast to sail, and a perfect way to refute the idea that taped-seam plywood boats are ugly. Dynamite Payson's a great guy.

First boat I built from start was Nymph. Wonderful instructions, The dimensions in Paysons book were accurate. Just two sheets of 5mm Meranti plywood and a few yards of glass tape and a half gallon of polyester resin. A little sanding and some alkyd porch and deck enamel and I had a Dink that scared the begebbers out of my wife but was /is just fine for me.
