Saw a want ad for someone selling one of these for cheap ($1175). Location Hopkinton. I haven't checked on it, but if you are in need of a Delta, send me an email and I'll give you the info.

I would post it here, but the want advertiser is an 'honor' system, and I'm honorable ;)

I have one. It's a powerful saw. VERY powerful. It's not much on finese, but it'll bull it's way through anything. I had a job to cut curved braces for a post and beam barn.... 64 braces at 10" thick by 16" wide by about 4 ' long.... My job was to cut these things into an arc, described by a pattern. Oh, did I mention they were "reclaimed" white oak, about 100 years old, full of grit and rotted nails? I did just fine, until the second to last one, which was just STUDDED with nails.... The blade melted. But the saw kept on spinning that melted blade right around....
