I just stumbled across this site:

http://www.tradboats.com/

They make caulking mallets and beetles of different sizes (rosewood, lignum vitae and beech)and caulking irons of nickel bronze (doesn't rust!), as well as riveting/roving irons, dollies and punches.

They're located in Beccles, Suffolk (UK).

Anybody know anything about them?

Looks like a nice find Nicholas, thanks. Think I'll add that one to the "Favorites" list. You can never have too many tool sources. I might order a corking iron or two just to see what they're selling and take them for a test drive. They certainly look good.
