Would anyone know where I can find those Bronze stars that would be affixed to the end of a boom or bowsprit ?
I remember seeing them in a catalog many years ago but I cannot find them these days.

The Wooden Boat Foundation in Port Townsend has them in a couple of different sizes. They are cast by Peter Langley at the Port Townsend Foundry.

If you're not fussy ya can make them your self. Even the three dimensional ones, or coax Norm to cast you some. ;) If not it's pretty easy to cut one with aviation snips from some flat brass stock. A file and some polish finishes them up pretty nicely. smile.gif

I did check out that web page for the Wooden Boat Foundation and those were the exact stars that I had wanted - plus a few other things.
Thank you all -
