Hi. My husband and I were recently clearing some materials in the attic and in the insulation we recovered an old CT registration form for a 1947 Mastercraft Hercules. We searched online to no avail. We are not even sure if this is a vehicle (perhaps a boat?).
The "Light Wt." reads 100 - and the "Gross Wt." is 600. Sounds like a boat, but if someone knows that it may be a vehicle please let us know.
Thanks!
Greg and Karrie-Ann Morris

I owned a Mastercraft boat trailer, which did a fine job carrying my Chamberlain dory-skiff. It would never be considered a Hercules, but it was a good little trailer. Perhaps the "Hercules" was a larger model?

Mastercraft boat trailers were made at 250 Middlefiled St. in Middletown, CT, so maybe this is a trailer item.

Mastercraft Boats were and are still made in the Orlando, FL area.

Mastercraft was a wooden runabout (plywood) in early 50s.Advertising was linked to watersking. Still made in plastic.

Hercules may have been the engine....same block as Chris used.
