Can anyone suggest a website where I could sell a 22" dia. variable pitch Hundestad propeller, shaft and various associated bits, and pieces? WoodenBoat doesn't want it advertised here and that seems fair although I will be advertising it in the mag. Peter

There's always eBay, the online auction. You can set a reserve price or a "Buy it Now for..." price, insuring you get what you want for the items. There are separate categories for boat parts, props, etc.
Many of the used boat stuff dealers sell their items there. I've bought and sold many items over the past few years.

Thank you MIke, I thought of ebay but I never find much boating stuff there. Perhaps I'm looking under the wrong heading (being a techno moron). Since posting my note on here I have listed the gear on www.boatdiesel.com (http://www.boatdiesel.com) and www.marineengine.com (http://www.marineengine.com) both addresses that I got off this site. Cheers, peter

You might not be looking in the right places on eBay...I just checked and there are over 7700 items in Boats & Watersports...admittedly a lot of junk, but there are over 2200 items in motors and parts, and a coupla hunnert props alone. I just bought a bronze shaft log and stuffing box for $35, one of a few on there.
Good luck with the listings you did find, and there's always Ebay if you don't sell, altho' if you're admittedly 'techno challenged', the auction can seem daunting for new sellers.

Well you're correct, I was looking in the wrong place. I thought 'watersports' belonged on an entirely different website. I'm hoping to get a few offers to discover what the thing is worth then that might be the time for ebAY. Once again, thanks, Peter
