I am trying to find a source for two sheets of 1/2" and two of 3/8" marine ply for building "the Weekend Skiff"- unfortunately there is little in our area. One boat builder promised to get me som from his source- "Boulters" (?)but has not gotten around to it and although he promised to send me one of their catologs so I can order it myself, it has yet to arrive. The only lumber yard in the area that carries it quoted the 1/2" at $42.00 a sheet and the 3/8" at $46.00 a sheet whereas the local builder said he can get it for $21.31 a 4'X 8'sheet in either thickness. Can anyone recommend a source? I am in the Myrtle Beach area od SC and can travel any reasonable distance if necessary.
Thank You!

I'm pretty sure you can get it in Wilmington NC. I believe there is one place near the end of I40, A1 Lumber? Try phoning boat yards in the area for local sources. (Be sure whoever you talk to isn't mistaking pressure treated for marine ply).
