View Full Version : more weird tools
Well, I know what it is. I've used it some over the years. Now somebody tells me it's worth some money! I thought they were pretty worthless, (they come in pairs).

So what you think? I don't know much about E-bay but I would go there if I thought I could sell these things.

Shoot, picture's not showing up now, dang web site is down half the time.
I was hoping to get some guesses! They're roofing tongs, sort of an in-between technology for standing seam metal roofs. The oldest way being mallet & irons, so you would move along hammering the metal over the edge of the iron up the roof.
Nowadays most people use an electric gizmo looks a possum robot. But these things work pretty well until the roof gets too steep, over 8/12 or so.
Some folks still like to swing the mallet, seriously, anybody got an opinion of value? JimD, can't tell if you're kidding or not, don't think they'll be a riot in Free Union anytime soon. A couple of weeks ago somebody knocked over the coke machine at the store, though.
