"trident" bronze?

I was given a dusty box of old bronze hardware for small sailboats. Most of it has an ensignia of what looks like a trident stamped on it. Does anyone know what company this may be?

Grinning. That's the logo of a big name hardware company who's name escapes me completely. Good gear as I recall. Merriman? The folks who know about these things will tell us for sure.

Merriman-Holbrook.....when they switched from merriman Brothers to Merriman holbrook the bronze alloy was changed and requires extensive magnaflux and zyglo testing to check for cracks and flaws that cause catastrophic failure when under load. I think i may have the last machine around outside the military big boys that can do the testing. my address may be obtained by sending an e-mail to my mail address....I weill test for free, you pay shipping UPS....and if I find stress/cracks etc I will condemn and properly dispose of the stuff, or of course return it....... :D

Thanks anyways guys. I think that I'll just keep the stuff and try and find a use for it here in NH. It might make a nice clothesline for the wife......
