When a small boat depreciates from $30k to under $15k (more or less) in 7 years, it tends to give the business a poor repuation.

I'll never build as fine a boat as Robb White ,but I can build a 16 foot boat that will give me more pleasure than owning one of his . As I think John Gardner said ; " The creation of a thing of beauty means more than simple possession. " .The price seems like a bad deal - for anyone who can build a presentable boat of their own .

from what I know of Robb White's construction methods, and the recent refinish list, there's probably 15 large worth of epoxy in that thing.
