I went to a new tool store today ( new to me anyway) and they carried Aside from a few makitas and dewalts, nothing but CRAFTEX brand power tools. Anyone ever heard of them? What sort of quality? anybody ever use one? I'm still looking for a bandsaw and they had a 14 inch that took 110V and had 1 horse power, tilt, yada yada.flyer says $465 Cdn. deal? junk? what?

Also checked out some General Bandsaws at another store and King brand too. Of course I have the Delta flyer here and It's real tempting for the 14 inch Delta but the specs say 115 V. how important is 110V -115 V difference in my electrical system?it's the 28-475X w/ enclosed stand they have in the flyer.
King has a 17 and 21 inch in their flyer. I"m asking a lot of questions regds. bandsaws but I want to get my $ worth and not need to buy two or three of the same tool for the construction of only a few boats ( assuming I don't get bitten and a few turns into "Just one more" ;) )
Thanks for the patience you guys rock

Hitachi CB75F 14-1/2" Resaw Band Saw
Other products by Hitachi
$2,499.99
Best one I've ever used, will resaw and except smaller "detailing" blades.
Buy it once and be happy , all the saw ,MTL, you'll ever need.
The $400.00 kind are not worth owning, use a jig saw for curved cutting . And either a tablesaw or skilsaw for resawing / ripping. Before you waste your $ on a under powered, over rated bandsaw.
Heres a starting point , web page (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000223KH/002-6185944-9424813?v=glance&n=228013)
