Much expert attention is given on this Resources Board to selecting and acquiring just the right tool or product for the task at hand. The latest LL Bean catalog has a new product that is just what you have been waiting for: "Boatbuilders' Shirt" and "Boatbuilders' Pants". Maybe not as silly as it sounds. If anyone has actually seen or better yet worn these items, a report would be entertaining at least, and perhaps even useful.

My boat building clothes are the nastyest of my wardrobe at any given time...

I'll admit it, I have the shirt. But not becasue it's a "boat building" shirt. My old all purpose thick flannel camping/fishing/hiking/everything shirt is tired and worn out so I picked up the LL.Bean shirt as a replacment. It sounded pretty tough and so far it seems to be as described. It's some kind of canvas material and for the price it should make a decent shirt for beating up.

There was a major thread on this already. Unfortunately, I've got to run and don't have time to find it. :(
