I'm working with the Gloucester Adventure organization to restore a 1926 122' fishing schooner. As one of the few remaining Gloucester schooners she has immense historical value.
If anyone knows where we can locate a shipsaw for sale, use, or donation, please contact me.

Found this in "Down to the Sea" The Fishing Schooners of Gloucester, Joseph E. Garland, David R Godine Publishers, 1983:
"The Gloucester Schooners are gone, all but two or three museum pieces embalmed in the dockside murk, some other flying Dutchman out there somewhere--who knows?--and the ancient Adventure, the last of them under working sail, still gurgling off the summer knots, as befits a very old age, in the Maine coast cruise trade.
All gone, almost. But the men keep coming, the Gloucestermen, still doing business in great waters."
