Big difference in price- probably the same thing. Here's the breakdown, lowest to highest:M.L. Clendon $2297, Anchor $2382, World panel $2640, Harbor Sales $2687, and the big winner Boulter $2797. Anybody got experience with these guys?

That's a pretty big spread. Knowing that not all of those folks carry the same products, what exactly were they quoting? Wood species? Manufacturer? BS 1088? Lloyd's Approval? I purchased Shelmarine plywood from Maine Coast Lumber by way of Harbor Sales. I am very pleased with the product. Bruynzeel plywood from M.L. Condon was my second choice. I made the selection based on price opting to save a buck or two.

I've bought direct from Harbor Sales. Apart from the shocking prices -- which seem to be the case everywhere; maybe I'm just naive -- I was happy with the whole experience. Friendly people, knowledgeable people answering the phone, clean facility, etc.

I used to live one town over from the M.L Condon warehouse in Stormville, NY. I bought all of my lumber and plywood from them, and was very happy with the selection and quality.

I buy from Boulter - But it is a 20 minute drive for me smile.gif No shipping costs..
I consider them expensive across the board. Anything I can get from someone else (ex: The Depot) is usually a lot cheaper.

However - My pile of Okume I got is excellent quality - can't complain about that..

I bought 30 sheets of Okoume from World Panel (and a few sheets of Merranti) and the Malvaux they sell is the best Okoume I have seen. I compared to several others including Edensaw and Boulter. I actually had samples sent to inspect.

World Panel was willing to get close to prices that were not Lloyds certified with their Lloyds certified Okoume. Also shipping from Miami to Dallas was very reasonable and the truck came by my residence and we loaded it onto my plywood rack.

I would always get a last bid from World Panel before making my final purchase decision...don't forget, this is a negotiation process, you need to push for their most competitive price... some will not deal, some will, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain...

I found the guy with the English accent at World Panel quite easy to deal with.
