Hello All:
I came across this posting on WoodWeb and thought perhaps someone would like to comment on either the details of the posting or the company who is offering it.
Also, if this is a good deal, would anyone like to go in on some of this stuff?
I only need 2 length's of 8/4 x 10" x 7' (two pieces to replace my coaming on Audax), and maybe a few more pieces for the cockpit. that would be a total of approximately 50 board feet needed of the 625 he's offering.
Actually, my coaming thickness is 1 1/4" and perhaps I might get away with 6/4 if 1), I am figuring correctly and 2), I understand enough to know whether there is such a thing as 6/4 Honduras mahogany.
Here's the website:

So if this looks like something a few of us would be interested in, in my area, perhaps we can combine our funds for a purchase. I am up here in the Bangor area of Maine.

Ralph M Bohm ---
I live too far way but ...
By the time shipping is added, the price is about $4.50-5.00/bdft.
That is about what I pay locally for 50-100 bdft in longer lengths and wider widths.
It is not a real good price, but it does get you your wood.
